Week 4 · Living our values · Day 22

Sewa — serving without asking why

Today we explore one of the most beautiful Sikh values — sewa, or selfless service. Sewa is not just volunteering or being helpful; it is giving your time and energy to others without any thought of reward or recognition. In the Gurdwara, in the community, and at home, sewa is how Sikhs live their love for Waheguru in action. The Gurus taught that when we serve others with an open heart, we are serving the Creator who lives in all of us.

Today's idea

Sewa means selfless service — doing something good for others without expecting anything in return.

Pick two or three — there's no wrong way to do a day.
