Japji Sahib · Stanza 12
Pauri 12
The peace of one who truly trusts and obeys the Naam is so great it cannot be put into words.
Manne kee gat kahee na jaae.
The wonderful state of one who truly trusts the Naam cannot be described.
Je ko kahai pichhai pachhutaae.
Anyone who tries to describe it later wishes they had not, for words fall short.
Kaagad kalam na likhanhaar.
There is no paper, no pen, and no writer who can capture it.
Manne kaa bah karan veechaar.
None can sit down and fully explain the one who trusts the Naam.
Aisaa naam niranjan hoe.
Such is the spotless, pure Name of God.
Je ko mann jaanai man koe. ॥12॥
Only the rare one who truly trusts the Naam knows this joy within their own heart. ॥12॥
