ਸੁਣਿਐ ਸਰਾ ਗੁਣਾ ਕੇ ਗਾਹ ॥
Suniai saraa gunaa ke gaah.
By listening to God's Name, we dive deep into oceans full of goodness.
ਸੁਣਿਐ ਸੇਖ ਪੀਰ ਪਾਤਿਸਾਹ ॥
Suniai sekh peer paatisaah.
Listening to the Name makes people wise teachers, guides, and kings.
ਸੁਣਿਐ ਅੰਧੇ ਪਾਵਹਿ ਰਾਹੁ ॥
Suniai andhe paavah raahu.
By listening to the Name, even those who cannot see find their way.
ਸੁਣਿਐ ਹਾਥ ਹੋਵੈ ਅਸਗਾਹੁ ॥
Suniai haath hovai asgaahu.
By listening to the Name, the deepest, most unreachable God comes within reach.
ਨਾਨਕ ਭਗਤਾ ਸਦਾ ਵਿਗਾਸੁ ॥
Naanak bhagtaa sadaa vigaas.
Says Nanak: those who love God are always blossoming with joy.
ਸੁਣਿਐ ਦੂਖ ਪਾਪ ਕਾ ਨਾਸੁ ॥੧੧॥
Suniai dookh paap kaa naas. ॥11॥
By listening to God's Name, sorrow and wrongdoing are washed away. ॥11॥
