There was once a young shepherd boy who watched the sheep on a hill. It was a quiet job, and the boy was bored.

The villagers heard him and came running up the hill to help. But there was no wolf. The boy laughed and laughed. "I tricked you!" he giggled.

"Wolf! Wolf!" the boy cried out. "Please help! There really is a wolf!"
