ਸ਼ੇਰ ਅਤੇ ਚੂਹਾ

▶ ਇੱਕ ਵੱਡਾ ਸ਼ੇਰ ਨਿੱਘੀ ਧੁੱਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੌਂ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ। ਇੱਕ ਛੋਟਾ ਜਿਹਾ ਚੂਹਾ ਉਸਦੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਪੰਜੇ ਉੱਤੋਂ ਦੌੜਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਜਗਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ।

A great Lion lay sleeping in the warm sun. A tiny Mouse ran across his big paw and woke him up.

The Lion caught the Mouse in his huge claws. "How dare you wake me!" he roared. "I will eat you up."

The Lion was free! "Thank you, little friend," said the Lion. "You were right. Even a tiny mouse can help a great lion."
