Once upon a time, three little pigs went out into the world to build their own homes.

The first little pig was in a hurry. He built his house out of straw. It was quick and easy, and soon he sat down to rest.

The third little pig worked hard all day long. He laid brick upon brick upon brick. It took a long time, but his house was strong and snug.

"Not by the hair on my chinny-chin-chin!" said the first pig.

ਬਘਿਆੜ ਨੇ ਫੂਕ ਮਾਰੀ ਤੇ ਫੂਕ ਮਾਰੀ, ਫੂਕ ਮਾਰੀ ਤੇ ਫੂਕ ਮਾਰੀ। ਪਰ ਇੱਟਾਂ ਦਾ ਘਰ ਬਿਲਕੁਲ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਿੱਲਿਆ। ਬਘਿਆੜ ਨੇ ਚਿਮਨੀ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਉਤਰਨ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀ, ਪਰ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਗਰਮ ਪਾਣੀ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਵੱਡਾ ਭਾਂਡਾ ਉਡੀਕ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ। ਛੱਪਾਕ! ਬਘਿਆੜ ਚੀਕਿਆ, ਬਾਹਰ ਛਾਲ ਮਾਰੀ, ਅਤੇ ਪਹਾੜੀਆਂ ਉੱਪਰ ਬਹੁਤ ਦੂਰ ਭੱਜ ਗਿਆ।
The wolf huffed and puffed and huffed and puffed. But the brick house did not move at all. The wolf tried to climb down the chimney, but a big pot of warm water waited below. Splash! The wolf yelped, leapt out, and ran far away over the hills.
