ਮੰਨੈ ਮਾਰਗਿ ਠਾਕ ਨ ਪਾਇ ॥
Mannai maarag thaak na paae.
One who trusts the Naam finds no roadblocks on the path of life.
ਮੰਨੈ ਪਤਿ ਸਿਉ ਪਰਗਟੁ ਜਾਇ ॥
Mannai pat siau pargat jaae.
One who trusts the Naam moves forward with honour and is known for it.
ਮੰਨੈ ਮਗੁ ਨ ਚਲੈ ਪੰਥੁ ॥
Mannai mag na chalai panth.
One who trusts the Naam does not get lost on empty, showy rituals.
ਮੰਨੈ ਧਰਮ ਸੇਤੀ ਸਨਬੰਧੁ ॥
Mannai dharam setee sanbandh.
One who trusts the Naam is firmly joined to a life of righteousness.
ਐਸਾ ਨਾਮੁ ਨਿਰੰਜਨੁ ਹੋਇ ॥
Aisaa naam niranjan hoe.
Such is the spotless, pure Name of God.
ਜੇ ਕੋ ਮੰਨਿ ਜਾਣੈ ਮਨਿ ਕੋਇ ॥੧੪॥
Je ko mann jaanai man koe. ॥14॥
Only the rare one who truly trusts the Naam knows this joy within their own heart. ॥14॥
