Pauri 15
Trusting the Naam opens the door to freedom and lifts up our whole family with us.
ਮੰਨੈ ਪਾਵਹਿ ਮੋਖੁ ਦੁਆਰੁ ॥
Mannai paavah mokh duaar.
One who trusts the Naam finds the door to freedom.
ਮੰਨੈ ਪਰਵਾਰੈ ਸਾਧਾਰੁ ॥
Mannai parvaarai saadhaar.
One who trusts the Naam becomes a support and blessing for their whole family.
ਮੰਨੈ ਤਰੈ ਤਾਰੇ ਗੁਰੁ ਸਿਖ ॥
Mannai tarai taare gur sikh.
One who trusts the Naam crosses over, and the Guru's Sikhs are carried across too.
ਮੰਨੈ ਨਾਨਕ ਭਵਹਿ ਨ ਭਿਖ ॥
Mannai Naanak bhavah na bhikh.
Says Nanak: one who trusts the Naam never has to wander begging.
ਐਸਾ ਨਾਮੁ ਨਿਰੰਜਨੁ ਹੋਇ ॥
Aisaa naam niranjan hoe.
Such is the spotless, pure Name of God.
ਜੇ ਕੋ ਮੰਨਿ ਜਾਣੈ ਮਨਿ ਕੋਇ ॥੧੫॥
Je ko mann jaanai man koe. ॥15॥
Only the rare one who truly trusts the Naam knows this joy within their own heart. ॥15॥
