Week 2 · Hello, Sikhi · Day 2

The Gurdwara — our shared home

A Gurdwara is simply “the Guru’s door.” Anyone can come in, sit on the same floor, and share food. Today we learn how we show respect there — and that the Guru’s home is also inside our own heart.

Today's idea

The Gurdwara is the Guru's house, open to everyone — and the Guru lives inside us too.

Pick two or three — there's no wrong way to do a day.

Today's Gurbani

ਹਰਿ ਮੰਦਰੁ ਤੇਰੈ ਨਾਲਿ ॥

Har mandar terai naal

“God's home is right here, within you.”

— Guru Amar Das Ji · Ang 1346
Talk together
