ਸਮੇਂ , ਰਪੁੰਜ਼ਲ ਮਦਰ ਗੋਥਲ , ਗਈ । ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ਾ , ।
Long ago, a little girl named Rapunzel was taken away to live in a tall, tall tower by a sour old woman called Mother Gothel. The tower had no door and no stairs, only one tiny window at the very top.
ਰਪੁੰਜ਼ਲ ਵਾਲ । ਰੌਸ਼ਨੀ ਵਹਿ ।
Rapunzel grew up with the longest, most golden hair you ever saw. It tumbled down like a river of sunshine.
ਮਦਰ ਗੋਥਲ ਬੁਲਾਉਂਦੀ, "ਰਪੁੰਜ਼ਲ, ਰਪੁੰਜ਼ਲ, ਵਾਲ !" ਰਪੁੰਜ਼ਲ ਦਿੰਦੀ, ਜਾਂਦੀ।
Each day Mother Gothel would stand below and call, "Rapunzel, Rapunzel, let down your hair!" Then Rapunzel would toss her long braid out the window, and the old woman would climb up.
ਰਪੁੰਜ਼ਲ । ਕੋਲ , ।
But Rapunzel was lonely. She would sit by the window and sing soft, sweet songs to the birds and the trees.
ਜੰਗਲ । । " ," ਫੁਸਫੁਸਾਇਆ।
One day a kind young man heard her singing as he rode through the forest. He stopped beneath the tower, amazed. "What a beautiful song," he whispered.
, ਮਦਰ ਗੋਥਲ । ਲੱਗ ! ਗਈ, ਬੁਲਾਇਆ, "ਰਪੁੰਜ਼ਲ, ਰਪੁੰਜ਼ਲ, ਵਾਲ ।"
He waited, hidden, until he heard Mother Gothel's call. Now he knew the secret! When the old woman had gone, he stepped out and called gently, "Rapunzel, Rapunzel, let down your hair."
, । ਰਪੁੰਜ਼ਲ ਗਈ, ਮੁਸਕਰਾਉਣ । ਗਏ, ਮਿਲਣ ਆਉਂਦਾ ।
Down came the golden braid, and up he climbed. Rapunzel was startled at first, but the young man's kind eyes made her smile. They became dear friends, and he visited every day.
" ਚਾਹੁੰਦੀ ," ਰਪੁੰਜ਼ਲ । " ਕਰੋਗੇ?"
"I long to leave this tower," Rapunzel said one day. "Will you help me?"
ਮਿਲ ਬਣਾਈ। ' ਲਿਆਉਂਦਾ, ਰਪੁੰਜ਼ਲ - , ।
Together they made a clever plan. The young man brought silk thread each visit, and Rapunzel wove a strong, long ladder, bit by bit.
ਗਈ, ਰਪੁੰਜ਼ਲ ਆਖ਼ਰਕਾਰ , । ਨਾਲ !
When the ladder was ready, Rapunzel climbed down at last, her feet touching the soft grass for the very first time. She laughed for joy!
ਮਦਰ ਗੋਥਲ ਬੁੜਬੁੜਾ । ਰਪੁੰਜ਼ਲ , , ।
Mother Gothel returned to find the tower empty and could only grumble. But Rapunzel and her friend were already far away, free and happy, with the whole wide world before them.
